Thanks but all that stuff has already been sold. Only the fender is left.

Easy: A side note on the bad fendered green 58 you checked out. As you likely have learned, good 58 parts are somewhat hard to find. While the fenders on the green car look rough, you might want to consider the front chrome parts & the windshield, which both appear quite good in the photo. Never know when you might need em!...

found this on Craigslist:

These were from a collection of car parts I bought from a former Ford fanatic. I'm not sure if they are for a '58 or '59 Ford passenger car. What I can tell you is they are fiberglass, not metal. Tried to do some research and found that JC Whitney reportedly sold replacements in the '60's, and have been told Ford used a limited number on race cars. I can't verify either story but these are in very good shape, a few small spots of spider webbing. Right fender has an old repair at the headlight bucket that needs attention. Call with any questions. What you see is what you get. $400.00 cash or consider possible trades up or down on guns. Pick up in Fayetteville only. Call Mike 770 461-7031. I don't text.

Thanks grovedawg for the offer! I have one lined up already for purchase but I'm just waiting on shipping charges. The guy wants $125+$70 shipping for a fender that still needs repair. He's double checking on the shipping quote he gave me. He's in Idaho.

Here's a photo:

Were the fenders you seen in better condition & better price than this? I would rather not do any repairs to the fender if possible but that may be wishful thinking. Wink

Again, thanks for the offer

I was just in my local pick a part and there was a 58/59 Ford truck with a bunch of fenders. If you need me to go look again I could maybe check it out. I think they charge reasonable prices, and I could pull it for ya and ship it out. Let me know.

If you are willing to look as far as Colorado, I found a salvage yard that might help.

I was out there last Friday and it is pretty nice. They put almost all the cars up on cinder blocks to avoid field rust. Of course, most already have road rust to some degree. I was looking for 57s so I don't have too many pictures of 58s to look through for you. The fellow there was real nice, and even drove me through the yard to point out the places I could look to try and find a tailgate for my wagon.

Not really rust repair. It was damaged during an accident and the person that repaired it just slapped a gallon of filler on it to fix it.
