I have a complete setup to convert or restore a 1956 Ford to an automatic transmission. As I have decided to convert my 56 Crown over to an AOD with power steering and disc brakes. I want to offer this to the guys on this site and the HAMB before I put it on E-bay. This can probably be used on other years and models but it comes from a 56 Town Sedan. I will sell any or all of these parts but the transmission will have to sell before I will seperate any of the accessories. I prefer local pickup in the KCMO area but will help with getting put on a pallet and shipping arangements made to get it shipped , including international buyers.I may even deliver to the midwest area. The transmission was professionaly rebuilt by a shop in the South side of kansas City last April and has never been installed. They installed all the stuff from a standard rebuild kit and a new reverse band, the front band was OK. A new O ring was installed in the converter after it was cleaned and flushed. Items I have are.

with bellhousing,inspection plates and shields, convertor,flex plate, all shift linkage,new dust boot,good used trans. mount,frame crossmember,driveshaft with yoke and u joints. These items are clean but have not been painted.$1050.00

complete and origional steering column needing restored,3 tooth steering sector with new seals and gaskets,steering wheel,shifter and turn signal arms,horn ring,neutral safety switch,shift indicater,drop plate with bolts,horn wire.$250.00
