Good deal James, don't tell Blueblood, he might want it back. By the way the Fairlane is on its way too Dayton.

Found something pretty awesome with my freebie 292. I bought a running 292 last month from a guy, and he gave me a second 292 to haul away, no intake but otherwise complete. I pulled the manual flywheel to use on the running 292, and found the telltale dot on the flange of a 312 crank. Once I pulled the heads, I found it to have 3.8 bores, then after removing the pan, found the ECZ maincaps...I got a free 312...block may be junk as it had two cylinders full of water, but the crank is nice and uncut. Hopefully the block can be saved, will have to see once I get those two pistons beat out, one is at TDC, the other at or near the bottom of the bore. It is a `56 or 57 block, had C0AE heads on it, small valves, some were stuck open also, hence the water in those cyls....also, the rockers were very nice, 1.54 ratio units, the 6564 rockers. The pads looked nice, better than the ones I was planning on running on my other 312 when I built it. My running 292 also has a set of those on it. Not a bad deal at all.
