This year Lead East was a Blast. There were numerous Y-blockers, and it's a common ground that makes instant friends. Was great to see so many sticking to stock, but alas there were still a few chevy powered Fords that made my stomach turn a bit.

The club I am in decided we needed to make a bit of noise at midnite, so we did a bit of drag racing on a road nearby. I am happy to say: My 272, 56, f100, beat an FE Ranchero, by a few car lengths.

A good time had by all.

Make sure you pick on some scrub lovers while you're at it. Some of us have waited 50 years for this day. (Hoosiers an exception, he's been beating their brains (Oxymoron) out for 40+ years).

Personally I don't condone street racing, unless it's a scrub in the next lane. Preferably an older guy with a Classic Scrub. They almost always have a 350/350 combo in the thing. That's FUN, if you don't get caught!Tongue

Not that I've had any experience! BigGrin But I've heard that blowing off noisy rice burners at street lights is sort of like shooting sushi in a barrel. Wink Chuck

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
