Wanting to re-do my '57. Do not need quarter panel. Need cash or set of Mummert aluminum heads. Located in Southern Illinois. Not sure exacytly what it is worth.

Red or black primer quarter panel?

I purchased a N.O.S. quarter at Ford Carlise for $1700.00 this year.

Thanks for the input. At least that gives me some idea of what it is worth. I had sort of thought it would be worth more than that but it is still a lot more than I paid for it.

You got a real deal on that one. Talked to a restorer in St. Louis. The vendors are asking $3500 to $4000 if the have them. Asking $3000 or best offer.

Yeah, they may be asking-but they aint gittin Wink

While I do think my purchase was a good deal at the time,in this economy I think 2K is a current realistic figure.

You may be right on the price. I will consider offers. Would like to get at least enough to cover a set of aluminium heads. Easier to come down than to go up and I am not in a panic to sell just yet. Primer is black. What is the signifiance of the primer color?
