Have a 55 Club with a built 292 and original Fordo. What 4 barrel is everybody inclined to use for street driven cars?

(remember hearing about a poll or opinion on the old forum but???)

56 Club sedan 40 over 312, 57 intake and Distributor with a Holley 390 cfm 4 BBL. Right out of the box it runs great except for a slight stumble betwen cold and warmed up.

I am sure I could tune it out but it only lasts about 2 min, as soon as the temp gage moves about 1/4 it is gone and runs fine. It's a stick so I have gotten used to it

I just returned from Crown Victoria Convention and got someware between 14 and 15 mpg crusing at 65mph with some runs to 70. Rear gears are 3.40something

Edelbrock 500 cfm, with a bit lumpier cam on a 292.  Feels lazy at midrange; havent had time to tune it much - probably also needs more ign, as it runs cold, even with a new t-stat...

I run a 650 Holley double pumper with a McCullouch supercharger and cam to match. Probably over carb'd but works ok for now. Chuck in NH

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
