I am going through the center carb for the 3x2 setup. The secondary carbs I have are a light gold/silver color and look to be from Vintage Speed or similar outfit. I want to match the center carb with them. Is the Eastwood gold/cadmium kit what I need?

I think you would be better off with Eastwood's paint made specifically for carburetors. http://search.eastwood.com/search?w=Carb But since I have no idea what your other carbs look like I can't tell if it matches or not. There is a guy on the Ford Truck Enthusiast's Forums http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum56/index3.html that has 97's using Eastwood's paint if you want to see what it looks like.

I think Vintage Speed actually replates their carbs so if that is what you have it won't match.

I might give the Caswell iridescent yellow chromate solution a try. Seems more like what I want. Paint, no matter how durable, always seems to break down with fuel leaks, etc.
