That is a beautiful setup in the Tbird. Awesome workmanship. Knowing how tough it is to get heat out of the Birds engine compartment I wonder how much that extra metal would make it run hotter. Also the additional compartment air flow restriction, especially over the fan, looks like it would contribute to overheating issues. Especially in a street driven ride. Beautiful though.

Thats a Latham axial flow supercharger. Pretty rare item, even more rare on a Y-Block. I don't know how good they were but they were designed for low hood vehicles. Chuck
