i have for sale what i was told to be a 272 y block. was rebuilt about 5 years ago with about 4 hrs of run time on it was bored 30 over.i have a vintage edlebrock 3 duce carb and intake set up for this and a single carb and intake set as well was told it had a nice cam installed and engine sounded great it was out of the truck when i purchased all this. i have a 3 speed trans and the bellhousing, starter,manifolds,some chrome acceseries lots of stuff.would like to see 400 out of it all.not going to use this engine or trans im going auto with a 302 .i know i under priced this engine and trans but i need to sell it as i will never use it.i have reciepts of the build head work was around 600 alone.engine is partically taken apart heads off, intake off ,and oil pan off i did this for inspection needs heads put back and intake .call my cell at 606-821-5889

I'd like to know the location too. Area code 606 is for Eastern Kentucky so I will have to assume that's where the engine is. But maybe not.

sold the y block and all the stuff i had today to a guy from tennessee .i should have asked more for it all but i wanted to move it . i knew i wasn't going to use any of it. ahh maybe he will get many years of use out of it i hope it works out for him. i do know where another one is that come out of a car likely a 272 but u never know. it has the tran also still hooked to it i can check on it for anyone that might be interested in it.let me know.
