Charlie: I hadn't heard that Karol had moved back to Texas. Also, that wasn't the name of the town I'd been sending letters to.

John, I visited with Gary Croan in Costa Mesa, CA (Y-Block Magazine advertiser and builder of a 1956 Thunderbird Daytona replica) two weeks ago and he told me he was in touch with Karol for years and that he was here in Hanford, CA (12 miles away) until recently and has moved back to Texas. Is that your understanding? I cannot believe he was that close all these years and I didn't take the opportunity to talk to him.

Bill: No, I haven't heard from Karol lately. I'd better get going and send him another letter. Yes, I have to sign in every time. Got used to it. Don't know enough about computers to copy and paste or any of that other fancy stuff. Probably wouldn't even have a computer if my son hadn't given me his old one when he got a new one about 10 years ago.

Yblock Magazine had a similar article about Miller I think. Good reading though. I have the same problem when trying post something. I copy it when it is ready so if I get kicked off, I can paste it back after re-logging in. I also can't log off easily. Takes quite awhile to register when I do.

Dang it. Wouldn't you know it, it kicked me out right when I was posting and had to log on again. Beginning to wonder if it is worth it... haha

Hoosier Hurricane (7/1/2011) Rumblefish:
Thanks for the article. How in the world did you type that much text? When I type too much, the site locks up on me.Copy and Paste??? Due to past experiences with this site "locking up" when trying to post I ALWAYS compose it in MS Word first then copy and paste it on this site. Not trying to hi-jack this thread, but while on the topic of this site... Do anyone else have the problem of having to Log on each and every time they visit, even if it is within a few minutes??

I have read that story before so I don't think he typed it Hoosier, I always love re-reading Karols amazing triumphs though. Great refresher. John, Have you heard from him lately? If you do ask him about those 223 secrets, I have a few of them here and with the gas as it is I just may run them more, Great engine.

Thanks for the article on Karol Miller. I had a copy of Brock's Ford Performance Handbook back in the sixties. My wife through it out during a cleaning fit. Never have been able to find another.
