I visited with Gary Croan in Costa Mesa, CA (Y-Block Magazine advertiser and builder of a 1956 Thunderbird Daytona replica) two weeks ago and he told me he was in touch with Karol for years and that he was here in Hanford, CA (12 miles away) until recently and has moved back to Texas.  Is that your understanding?  I cannot believe he was that close all these years and I didn't take the opportunity to talk to him.
