Although this might please some people it pains me to say that I will have to cancel my plans to go to Columbus this year. Due to family commitments which take priority, I will not be able to defend the "International title" (not that I had any competition)!

Anyhow, I am REALLY disapointed I cannot be there this year but I will still be putting up some money in the prize fund for any non-U.S. racer that decides to show. So hopefully some fellow Canadian will step up to the plate to defend our title just in case one of those "peski" Aussie's decide to show and claim bragging rights!  

I will miss having good times with my "Y" family, but hopefully I can return next year! For anyone that still needs a hotel room ( I know they are scarce) please contact me before I cancel mine, and maybe I can get them to reserve it for you before someone else snaps it up.

For all that show up, have a great time, hopefully the weather co-operates and I will be there in spirit!

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier.  Must be related to how many birthdays I've had.  Anyway, I  am willing to consider bids from both of you, whoever has the winning bid will have the honor of me being an honorary citizen of your country, and being the only foreigner in the shootout, I would be assured of winning the international prize in the name of your country.  Bragging rights.  I'm talking American dollars only.  Bidding should start around $10,000 American, I would think.  You won't have to worry about me remaining a citizen of your country, I would resume my Hoosier citizenship right after the awards dinner.

I'm no pushover, but I can be had.

That sounds like a great idea .I'd check those Canadian dollars ,surely there not worth as much as the Pacific Paso ( Aussie Dollars ).I hereby put my money on the "Hurricane " to take out the Columbus 2007 Shoot Out .John, the check is in the mail ????Good luck to everyone .Try not to have too much fun without us .The Aussies will return in 2008 .
