Stopped off to see this car show today. Ford flathead motors were the featured marque. Thought you all might enjoy some of the photos. Only Y Blocks were the requisite restored Tbirds.

Flathead powered Bonneville coupe

Ardun Conversion

Injected (Hilborn) rear engined Bonneville roadster

Rare Riley OHV conversion

Another rare set of heads (Tattersons?)

Nice goodies

When he judges asked the owner to start this coupe to hear it run, in the background is the Engine Modelers Club. They make uncanny miniature gas replicas. They fired up the mini Flathead at the same time. It was amazing how much they sounded alike.

This is a rear-engined flat head powered former midget. The flathead is supercharged using a an air-conditioning system to keep the air/fuel charge cool, coil-on-plug distributorless ignition, MAF sequential EFI, computer controlled management system. The guy who built this had to be in his 90's and has been tweaking this thing for a long time. The MAF Fuel Injection/computer/coil-on-plug stuff looks like late-model GM stuff. He was getting a lot of attention.
