I second that, and if you know or have a relative from WWII or the Korean era and they haven't been on Honorflight back to DC to see their memorial do everything in your power to convince them to go.  My WWII vet dad was reluctant at first but finally went and the next day said, "Yesterday was one of the greatest days of my life"

They take vets from later eras like Vietnam if they are critically ill, they take wheelchair bound vets, vets on oxygen, just about anything you can imagine and no charge to the vet.

And I promise you this, if you get to go on Honorflight as a guardian to these old warriers it will be one of the greatest days of your life as well.

Thank you for your service and God bless.

I'd rather be lucky than good.................
