FWIW, I received my NOS isky lifters this week. Nice parts and a good deal on the price which WAS VERY NEGOTIABLE. Shipping was actual charges via USPS.

Thanks for your evaluation of the parts and the prices.  Again, please don't hesitate to make me an offer.  I also appreciate your consideration of my post.

one mans junk is another mans treasure.i used to think people were crazy for trying to sell worthless junk until i saw they were selling it.just go to any auction and see what they will bid on.my brother in law runs a junk yard and i would like to have what he made frow completely worthless crap.you cant even talk these people out of buying the stuff if you tried.just look at e bay.you could put a cam on there with one lobe worn of and still get 10 bucks for it.theres one born every minute.

Mike (So-Car).  Thanks for posting the link to the Y parts.  It is all Y stuff and for that reason, the post is permitted to stay.  Ted.

In general, it’s up to the Administrators and/or Moderators to cull out the blatent advertising that takes place.  I’ll be the first to recognize that there are those people that will log on only one time in which to post something for sale or looking for a particular part.  On this site, that’s perfectly fine if it’s Y related.

What ever happen to the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all"!! or do you guys just look for things to bitch about!!!

I'm the one who told him about the site and to post here.....but now I think it was a big mistake.

If your not looking for anything then maybe you should just keep your BS to your self and if you are looking for something call Mike and make a offer!!

for the record, I did e-mail SoCar to find out about negotiable pricing (which the prices are...) and to inquire about a few of the parts. Of special interest to me are the NOS isky lifters. Wink

I do understand the issues with being on a site for while until you list things for sale, but I personally have no problem with someone giving me a lead. There are a whole host of things I need for my Sunliner and for my Y blocks, and unfortunately sometimes it is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

I notice quite a few people registering only to list things for sale. Several of the sites I frequent require a minimum number of posts before the swap section becomes available for use. As difficult as it can be to sell anything here, maybe doing the same here might save someone some time and grief. /Duck
