Looking for a set of longer Valve cover studs to fit finned T-Bird Valve covers. If anyone has a set they are willing to sell, please email me at robert.m.bolzon@jci.com . Not sure how much longer these studs are over stock ones, but I heard the Hoosier make mention of them once.

I used a piece of all thread cut to the proper length when I installed my Moon valve covers. Available in 3' lengths from Home Depot and others I'm sure. We're not talking a high torque item here.

The valve cover studs from a 317/302/332 LYB engine are longer than those in a stock valve covered Y engine and also the right length for the Thunderbird aluminum valve covers. These studs will retain the correct coarse thread for the heads and the fine threads for the valve cover nut and rocker stand hold retention.

This has become a rather COARSE conversation. Thankfully it's in Canadian so I can't understand it!
