Not mine, but I wish it was!  Featured in YBM a couple issues ago.

eBay listing # 200550190574 with a $2,000 reserve.

A complete 1956 Ford B6A-9000-B engine enhancement kit, in original packaging.  Quite possibly the ONLY complete, NEW uninstalled kit in existence today.  A very limited number of these kits were produced by Ford in 1956, and were intended for installation in Fords and Thunderbirds for NASCAR, police pursuit, and other high performance applications.

Kit consists of an aluminum 2x4bbl intake manifold, specially calibrated Holley 'teapot' carburetors, linkage, fuel lines, brackets, hardware, and gaskets.  Also included are 'special' ECZ-C cylinder heads, valve lifters and springs, a unique camshaft, distributor recalibration kit, and Purolator dry-type air cleaner assembly.  The original installation instructions (3 pg) and distributor recalibration chart completes the package.

All components are in remarkable condition - see photos.  The air cleaner top, however, has suffered some paint damage - probably from being uppermost in the crate (for nearly 55 years!).

Y-Block Magazine (www.yblockmagazine.com) featured the discovery of this kit in their March-April 2010 (vol 17, no.2) issue - a copy of which will be included with the sale.  Also to be included are copies of Ford documents, etc that have been graciously provided by various historians during background research.

Regards,

Dennis

Checked this morning and the bid is at $4250, and the reserve not yet met.

Dennis

I believe this is the kit I posted on several months ago.

The owner mentioned he was going to sell it in the future.

It sold for over 11,000 and if it was going to be used it would be a expensive build.

Butchering up everything I can get my hands on in Dayton Ohio
