Paul, does Schumann's have a website or printed catalog? I never think of them when looking for something.

Jim: I'm always afraid that because of lack of advertising or advertising in the right place, that valuable parts will end up being scrapped. So, if your contact Ed has a quantity of n.o.s. Ford parts, particularly engine stuff, a place that might be interested, particularly in engine parts & so on, is Schumann's Sales & Service. Address is 227 W. Mayne St. Box 128 Blue Grass Iowa. 563-381-2416 or Fax 563-381-2409. Since they are in state, might be worth a try...

Just found out that a local fella thats been selling nos parts for years is closing up shop since his wife passed away. I've bought several things from him in the past and really a nice guy to deal with. He's located in Wellman,Iowa(30 miles SW of Ia City,Ia) He just told me that he still has a lot of Ford Bumpers, body panels, generators, starters etc left. I just bought some small items and he sold them for 1/2 price. Original Ford upper balljoint was $30. I'm not really promoting him but thought if any of you needed some parts it might be worth a phone call. Best time to get him is evening at 319-646-2879. He's also got gm and some mopar parts. His name is Ed Vachta. Might be worth a call and manbe save a few $$. Mostly Fords from the 50s. Jim Dahl S.E. Iowa
