Good for you and your waggon!  If I can ever get through with my frame off restoration of my 57 Bird that I've had since 1971 maybe I can get a trophy too.

Congrats! Isn't it fun listening to the youngsters (and some oldsters) trying to identify a Y-block?

As they say, even a blind squirrel will eventually find a nut.  Well that day just came for my 55 Ranch Wagon.  We won a trophy in Hainesport, NJ at the Boulevard Cruisers Car show.  She's a little faded, her engine well worn and she's certainly past her prime but apparently she had enough Y-Block mojo to sway the judges.  Comments like "wow, I didn't think any of these stripped down wagons survived, look it really still has a 3 on the tree" and "what kind of engine is that" could be heard.  For one brief moment, in October 2010, she was the prettiest belle at the ball again! Wink
