Tim, I checked it out over on the HAMB. Looks like you were giving the sb all he wanted. Good show!

Tim. Thanks for posting the videos. Great job on getting your dragster both to and down the track.

I'll try to post more pix when I have time, I tried last night and everything locked up on me. After that I was too tired to try again. Todd got some great shot as well as video, maybe he will post. Glen, I did give the scrub a good run for his money but in two races he won both, but dont blame the old Y we were neck and neck all the way both races were won at the starting line. He had a 350 to my 338 and I think if I was running a single four instead of 3x2s I would have overtaken him. The car did real good for a pickup engine.

Did he know that it was a "back up engine" of sorts? I suspect if it was the intended engine, the sb would not have had a chance.

charliemccraney (10/11/2010) Did he know that it was a "back up engine" of sorts? I suspect if it was the intended engine, the sb would not have had a chance.Everyone knew this was not the intended engine but truth be known his engine was a backup also. He had a 350 and we are sposed to be limited to 325ci, he also just wanted to run this weekend. He also has more driving expiriance but I'm getting better. Next year we will see, he will have his proper engine and I will have mine. I'm also going to buy a Mummert intake for the new LSR truck and I think it may get a few runs on this car, I do think there is much more power to be found with a single four. All in all I'm having a great time, beating the sbc in both LSR and on the drag strip I think is in store for next year. One of my favorite shots.
