Yesterday I went to Beaver Springs dragway for their jalopy showdown drags. It's heads up 1/8 mile racing. They have 3 classes - big block, small block, and flatheads fours and sixes. I don't have a chance, but for 20 bucks you get a bunch of passes in.

For some reason I had real good reaction times .017 -.024 .081 .010 .074 and an LB3A when I took my foot off the brake.

The east coast gassers were there again and there was a front engined dragster with 2 392 hemi's on it. Made a lot of tire smoke and noise. I'll post pictures when I get the chance again.

Now that looks like my kind of drag racing! Sure wish we had something like that around here.

That looks like the kind of meet that would be a ball for a y-block group. There are also a lot of tracks that have "nostalgia weekends". Chuck in NH

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

you guys were looking for an East coast place to meet. Maybe you ought to work it around that one. It's still reachable for some of us midwesterner's to since it's central/east Penn.
