Just to let everyone know ,we Aussies arrived home safe & sound about 12 hrs ago .We had a road trip of a lifetime ( Drove 6200 mile ) Surely we must have won longest distance ,driven ???????. As usual ,the best part of the trip was the Y-Block Shootout .To everyone at Columbus ,a BIG thank you .Great to catch up with some old friends, and meet some new ones . A special  SALUTE to Bob Martin ,not only for letting me drive his car ,but the effort he puts in behind the scenes is amazing . .

Lon

PS . Thank you to everyone who signed the card for Darryl .If only you could have seen the smile on his face ??? Worth every mile .

Lon.  Glad you and Brad made it home safely.  It’s always great having the Aussies over for a visit.  You are definitely a fun group of guys.  And thanks for sharing your pics.  It’s quite the photographic record of your trip here in the States.  I’ll see what Jim can do in including some of them in the YBF 2010 Columbus galley when he puts that together.

Congrats on the safe trip home Lon & Brad!

I just received the latest CVA magazine and see your car on the back cover with Jasons 54. If you don't receive it I will make a copy of the back cover and send it to you.

Next time you come this way the Loring airforce timing run is a couple weeks before columbus, you will have to come up this way and check out my shop, house camps etc.

Regards,

Bill
