Yesterday I went to mason/dixon dragway, drove the truck 125 miles one way. Won 2 rounds, broke out on the 3rd round. 18.37 on a 18.40 dial in. I lifted at the line, but I should have braked. I had him by a lot, it was a 14 second mustang. The reason I had him by a lot, was his .579 reaction time. .579 and he went to the finals, ouch.

I forgot my camera this year. Danny O'Day was there again with his 34 ford wheelstander. He ran the quarter in 9 something on just his 2 rear wheels.



I gave him a brochure for ford expo. He's scheduled in Kentucky labor day weekend. One of these years he'll join us to race y blocks.



On a side note, he's looking for a 57 hood that he can cut for a supercharger. He doesn't want to cut his good hood. Any body have one?

I have a real good hood other than someone bolted a torino hood scoop on it at one time. It could be repaired, but would make an excellant S/C hood, $150. I can bring it to Columbus if he is interested Dennis. Let me know.

Just for info, a 58 hood should work, since he is planning on cutting it anyway, and they were reinforced to avoid the 57 problem of easily bending them.
