Don't some people stay at the track? I am in hotels 1/2 the year and would rather stay at the track in a tent or camper or back of truck. Is there facilities there for washing? may take a hotel one night if staying at the track is allowed.

They say no camping but I think a few have slept in their tow vehicles. Someone said that as long as there is no problem they don't bother you. I Don't know for sure. There is a campground directly outside the gate to the track. Chuck in NH

I checked with the track this week about staying at the track in a motor home and they approve of that. But I don't know about showers and such. The gate is locked at 10 PM which might be a problem on the banquet night. Harry says he always checks with the gate person and/or officer on the way out, about getting back in.  He said they always check your credentials on the way back in and it varies from a "strip search" to being waved in.

I think camping on the grass will be much more comfortable than the asphalt or concrete.
