The code numbers are EBY 9425-D,is this a 1954 Ford/Merc 256 intake? I got it in a parts swap with the matching T-Pot Carb and spacer.Approximate value ?

I think it's a '54 Merc, Ford didn't offer a 4 barrel in '54.  Will fit the 239 Ford engine though.

My '54 Ford Shop Manual shows it as a Police Interceptor option but does not list the code casting numbers it does show a picture of the 256 with the Tea Pot Holley carb. Kind of a cool old pic,the '54 Ford's used by MP's in Germany in the mid 50's.

Actually I sold a 4v 1954 holley teapot NOS to a friend of mine for his 54 conv. It was made differently from the 55 and 56 models and I believe it was for the police cars??? Don't recall seeing any others quite like it, sorta like an incomplete 55 model or it may have been for a 54 merc or lincoln ?????Unsure

if it had the chock butterflys in the body it was a 53 linc. carb. 54 merc's had carters on them.

I don't think so - my friend with a 54 merc has a teapot.
