I was successful bidder on the indicator. The guy sounds like a reputable seller and Interapid has always been my indicator of choice. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230459204511&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:AU:1123

crenwelge (4/16/2010) Thanks, They have a picture of the indicator and it is .0005, Swiss made and that's what I'm looking for. Here in Texas we measure fish with a rubber ruler.I must get one of those rulers.

Kenny, yes all imperial measurements are the same world wide. We changed to metric measurements in late 60,s and i,m still confused. Maybe the .0005 is typo as that is fine measurement. regards bill. P.S the size does vary if measuring fish!!

Do any of you guys know who live down under know if inches are the same down there as the US. I am looking at a dial indicator on eBay and I am wondering if .0005" is the same as the US. I have found stuff in Europe that the Brits call inches and they are Whitworth that are different than ours.
