Hi guys. Is there anybody who has a Fordamatic 2 speed for spares. I'm missing the piece that comes out of the final drive case that is connected to the drive shaft I also am looking for a flexplate I'ts a 292 engine. I'm from Ireland and there aren't any around I'm willing to pay whatever plus postage. Thanks again, great site.

Ken do you have the alum cast two speed trans? If so I have a flexplate and a trans that I could pull parts from. I am not sure just what part you are needing, but I think you are talking about the output shaft. If you can provide more details, I may be able to help you.

Hi Glen,

Yes It is all aluminium 2 speed,I have the trans out I took the pan off and there is a lot of metal swarf in the oil there is a noise when you put it in drive I was going to get a rebuild kit anyway but iwill probably Need some bits off you but I will have to strip it first,Iwill Probably need a torque converter because of all the metal in the oil , the flex plate is buckled,

so iam willing to buy what you have, The number on the side is Pbr-a-63591 and 292 under it,

Probably the best thing to do is for me to strip my own trans mission first to see exactly what I need and then give you a complete list it might take a week or so and you can come up with a price in the mean time.Please dont sell it to anybody in the meantime. I will not mess you around you can trust me.

Glen Do you have the flex plate of the 292 automatic transmission? How much? Could you please send me (hotstude40@uol.com.br) some pictures of this flexplate with some mesures:

- Number of tooth =>

- external diameter of the ring gear =>

- diameter of the holes to bolt on the torque conversor =>

Let me explain you why I'm asking this data. Because I'm writing from Brazil and I'm looking for a 292 automatic flexplate, but here I cannot find it. I tryed to buy a new one in USA, but nobody knows this flexplate I'm using here. My flexplate it's broken around the bolts where it is bolted on the crankshaft. Thanks in advance for your help.

Fortunately yesteraday I found exactly what I was looking for. I found a Brand new flexplate for Yblock w/ C4 transmission. The piece is a old stock piece, but never used. So thanks a lot for your help.
