What size engine, and what size bearing, standard or undersize?

John-

I think I have it covered...I FINALLY won an auction on EBay at a decent price. We'll see what shows up when the pieces get here.

Well, no matter I won the auction at a good price, they are .010 under and I need standard. It was my mistake didnt read the description close enough, when I found the auction it was almost over and I jumped too soon.

John, you have a standard set for a 272? Thanks-

Dan

I don't have a new standard bearing.  239, 256, 272, and 292 bearings are the same, if that helps your search.  I may have a serviceable used one if you can't find a new one.  Parts stores used to sell individual bearings as opposed to full sets, don't know if they'll still do that or not.

I look and see if I have one.  Do you only need the bottom half.  That's what I get from your previous post.  If your top half is unharmed, you could use it in the cap where the greater load would be.  If I find one, you can have it.

Found a bearing today, both halves look OK, but measure .002 wear on each one.  If you want to try them, let me know, and re-send your mailing address to me.
