I am lookiing for nos padded dash for 57 tbird, or a really good used one, does anybody know anything about the reproduction ones? are they easy to install, I have never done this before, and am a little bit leary of doing it, has anybody installed one before, any advise would be appreciated! I guess one should use slow drying glue to install it.

Casco www.classicbird.com sells a DVD showing how they do a padded dash at their shop.....dash is out on a bench,wiring and guages removed....contact cement and a heat gun. After seeing the DVD, I don't know if I would try doing while it's in the car. Barry

I HAVE INSTALLED THE DASH PADS IN THE CAR AND ALSO ON THE WORK BENCH, WHILE IT IS EASIER OUT OF THE CAR IT IS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT TO PULL THE STEEL DASH AND ALL THE WIRING TO DO IT. HOPE THIS HELPS TOM
