the add says they're C1TE heads.. not worth $300 by a long shot..

Carpenters Bare heads are listed as C3TZ 6049 G to use with COME 6507 N Intake valves. $12.00 ea but 1.650" head dia.! regards bill.

There seems to be some confusion on the i.d. on the heads. The Ad says C1TE but the photo shows (1956) ECZ- C. They are nice and clean & apparently checked for cracks. $300 is likely a little steep, especially if you have to pay shipping... Dennis Carpenters "new" heads are from S America, but as pointed out, they have the small 1.65" intake valves. However, John Mummert advertizes 1.84" dia valves to fit the N. American heads with the smallest valves, & they might be made to fit the S.A.heads. You would have to inquire.
