hello i'm veedub new to this sight nice to find youall i have a 56 customline 4 door with 292 & a27 t bucket with a 312 i just bought a 3 duce setup eldelbrock man with ford carbs progressive linkage fo 40dollars i was told i cant use the stock carbs i needed special carbs on the ends if this is true do they still make the carbs for the ends or do i put this on the wall for decration any help will be great

Sounds like you got a great deal for $40. The intake alone normally runs about $200 in EBay. The 573 is the better Edlebrock intake as it flows better and as far as the carbs go you will probably need to rebuld them but not sure about needing a "special" carb. There are primary (with choke) and secondary cars (no choke) and different makes (holley, grant, stromberg). Maybe that is what the person was talking about. Sure the guys who know more than me will help you out for sure. Welcome to the site these guys are great.
