Peter Leddy left me a message saying that Birdsapallooza would not happen this year but with enough interest, next year could happen. At least the possibility is there for it to be revised. Harry. As far as the pistons and rods go, just hang on to them for the short term and We’ll meet up and I can get them off your hands.

I would attend if we get another planned. I realize it is a bunch of work for Peter to get it set-up but we have had a great time everytime. A great way to see everybody and make some runs in our cars.

I will attend, as these races were always very good to me.

Ernie. I have to believe that all the races you go to are good for you. And I’ll add that those races that Ernie Phillips goes to are not so good for the other racers. Sorry Ernie. Just couldn’t resist.

Thanks for those kind words, Ted. The only time I have
been in a race car in the last three years was to move it
when it got in the way of working.
This year I hope it will be different. I have began
updating everything, tires, seat belt harness, helmet,
jacket, and me.
It will be a challenge to get my timing back after a
three year layoff, but I look forward to it.

I know the Church brothers and I would love for Birdsapalooza to happen again so they could exercise Robin's Mainline and David's Bird and with some luck maybe by next year we could bring a 57 Blackbird along also (if we can ever get through with it)! We always really had a good time seeing everyone and getting to make a lot more passes than at Columbus and see some folks that don't make it to Columbus. I suppose the main thing Peter needs is to have more folks that are interested in the racing type activities to bring cars to justify all the work he would be doing? Hopefully, it might happen next year. Larry Boyer

Ernie, The three year layoff may bring you back to the same level as the rest of us. Then again maybe not. I don't think I ever saw both sides of a T'Bird in the lights before Columbus.
