Thanks everyone....the one of the best parts was havin my daughter along as co-pilota / navigator to share this experience

the fuel is fine w/ two grades 87 + 91 oct

we rally only during day light althought headlights are mandatory to make it back to hotel or late night cruzin

livestock ..YES  cattle , donkeys, chickens , goats .. wouldt'nt be Mexico without 'em

long days of aprox 400 miles 8-10 hours each day

intermitant transit sections and unlimited speed sections when the roads are closed

I counted four blowin chevy motors in the higher HP classes

the yellow Lincoln also blew a head gasket on the last run of the last day on the race track     www.lacarrera2007.blogspot.com

lot's of support vechicals w/ trailers although ours got held up at the boarder see      www.lscheller.blogspot.com

Could be beneficial. Maybe GM will pay us their bailout money to "shut up." We can then use the money to further develop the Y.

Congratulations are in order once again.  Quite an accomplishment so be sure to take all the accolades as they come your way.  And I too am interested in the answers to Charley's questions.

Congratulations on your 1,2 finnish.  You must live for that event.  I cannot imagine how excited and gratified you must feel.

Just curious, is the gasoline acceptable?  Do you drive at night and have to worry about livestock?  Do you have support that follows?  How many miles?

Great job.............
