These replies should be going in the Technical section rather than in the Classifieds. Start new posts when applicable rather than ‘hijacking’ existing threads.

What kind of compression ratio can you get away with on this setup?

Buzz (4/20/2009) OK, the S/C is in and running...it took my brother and I 3 1/2 days (12hrs ea.) to get it all in there, we had a bunch of wiring since we put in all the MSD stuff - what a chore. it goes off to my buddies shop for some tuning today. In the weeks to come I will be tweaking the belts and pulleys to get the boost coming in right. This really isn't a race a car - not with a FOM in there, I am limited by the cam too...i am a cruiser mostly I just wanted to have some more power so I don't think it will ever be tweaked out for max power...anyhow...if there is ever an event closer to southern California...I'll be there.
outYeah all I have is a FOM too and a lil Clay Smith ginrd cam (265 i think?) But i'm still curious about the output of this thing.. I'm guessin youo're gonna run like 6psi? I know i'd be runnin like 8-10..lol

I would suggest you give the seller an ask a question. I see Gord has relisted the kit so should be easy to get a hold of.
Here is a link to the new listing
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170317986917
I do not have any interest financial or otherwise in this kit. I just know Gord from being a fellow y-block guy.

Bump= To nudge.....
BUMP is a forum term used to Bump a topic back to the top of the topic board.
Same as TTT ( To The Top)
I'm sorry that in today's society, they've been teaching us to make things shorter and to the point.... :-/
