YukonCor55 (2/17/2009) By the way Paul, I may be coming your way later this year. I'm meeting some old friends from RAF Mildenhall in Oct. I can't wait to get back over there to tip a pint at the "Bird In Hand."Thats great. I live very close to Mildenhall. Will run over in the Mercury for a pint.

I'm all for a get-together; I'm planning on getting to both Hershey and Carlisle. If nothing else, I'll see you at the "YBF" tent. By the way Paul, I may be coming your way later this year. Sadly I will have to miss the Carlisle event. My schedule allows no time for it sadly. I have a wedding on 26th Sept here in England. But I will most definately be at Hershey. Will look for you. My fave tipple is A&W Rootbeer. Pack one in yer trunk for me dudes !

And AJ, have you ever been to Queensbury NY with your ranchwagon? I swear I saw that in the Olive Garden parking lot last year! To my knowledge my old ranch Wagon never made it to NY other than passing through. It spent a good deal of it's life in Maine. By the way...BEAUTIFUL Merc!!

Paul, Not sure how much time you'll have for your "Holiday in America" but if you can get an extra few days, the Fall Carlisle show is 30 Sep thru 4 Oct. It's one of the biggest parts swapmeets/car auctions/shows in the country. They intentionally run the Carlisle and Hershey shows back to back so vendors and participants can just stay in the area for both shows (Hershey and Carlisle are only about 25 miles apart.) The difference is Hershey leans more toward the antique car show format while Carlisle leans more toward the giant swap meet format. Also, Carlisle runs multiple shows each year. I only live about 3 hours away so I try to get to each location once, Carlisle in the spring and Hershey in the Fall. here's a link to Carlisle: http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/index.asp Best,
