Can anyone provide a link to a supplier for exterior door mirrors for Ford F100 from 1957?

I have a friend who wants some. His kids want to club together and get a pair for him for Christmas.

Thanks

Paul

Hey Paul,Both Macs Antique auto and Dennis Carpenter have mirrors listed for that year. There are a couple different ones so you need o know the style used on your friends.Problem with both these suppliers is they are hard to deal with if you are not in USA.If you have someoe in US who will accept them and then forward to you is much easier. There are other suppliers, just do a google for 1957 Ford pickup parts.

Brian,

I like your set up. I have been looking for the big truck mirrors for a year (just like you have pictured OEM) but can't find any, need them to see out beyond my Alaskan. Do the ones you have vibrate at all? I have considered doing what you have done but the extensions I find have a 90 degree bend in from bolt to bolt, that would make the mirrors turn out.

Not very useful.

Hi,Tim.You can order ,through your local NAPA store, telescoping arms from an old cmopany called Grote, who produce mirrors, lenses, and many other safety items. They come in several lengths, and either powder coated black,or with a chrome-like finish. The mirror heads I have are after marked old stock by Yankee, bought off EBay,and match the Corinthian White on my '59 pretty good.I have a shell/camper also and agree those round mirrors are pretty worthless.Steve.

Thanks, I wanted to steal the mirrors of the old F-600 out at our family farm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oM84Rp0OflI&feature=related But my cousin wouldn't let me. BigGrin
