How is the crankcase ventilated under boost (piston ring blow-by)? Brand name on the oil separator? Crankcase vents out the fresh air vent in the front of the valley cover. Catch can isn't anything special. They are pretty universal. The hose that comes with them is pretty cheap, plan to use hose from the parts house. https://a.co/d/0bPxDdZt

"Crankcase vents out the fresh air vent in the front of the valley cover".
Don't misunderstand or let me upset you, but the oil filler cap (on this period design) is your fresh outside air inlet for the system. It also has (should have) a clean filtering element within it. Fresh air is drawn in and enters the crankcase.and exits via the road draft tube or a PCV SYSTEM.
On a turbo install, PCV works as on a NA engine until boost comes in at which point the PCV valve is forced by the boost pressure to shut the valve to prevent the crankcase from being pressurized by the boost. At that point, there is no crankcase ventilation unless a secondary system under boost is employed.
That excess crankcase pressure can cause seals and gaskets to leak/blow.
