It's 2026 who makes the best valve cover gaskets available. I seen real gaskets makes them, but if they're like the pan gasket I'm afraid they'll squidge out. Anyone try them. I did the fel pros last time and they only lasted a couple years. This truck gets driven hard and often.

I bought the Tennessee Real Gaskets vc gaskets, but I haven't installed them yet. Dan Jessup (hotrodreverend.com) probably has the most experience using them.

The only gasket, in my particular case, that would seal 100% and lasted well over 10 years are the 1/4" neoprene gaskets sold by John Mummert. I have a slightly warped valve cover so my problem is unique. As mentioned above Dan Jessup had good success with the silicone gaskets and has an excellent video.

Yeah I think my valve cover might have a little warp in it. I'll check it out when I pull it off again. That's what I was looking for. Something a little stiffer than the 100% silicone one. Maybe I'll get both and give them both a try

It has the PCV conversion back in the rear. That runs to a catch can and has a checked valve in it between the catch can and the base of the throttle body. No boost goes into the crankcase.

I use plain cork gaskets that I have laying around and I don't have any leaks.

You have an OIL SEPARATOR plumbed in? How much does it collect between services?

Do you have a photo of the install?

How is the crankcase ventilated under boost (piston ring blow-by)?

Brand name on the oil separator?
