switching from a standard brake pad you get more performance, and no brake dust. they have a tendency to be noisy thought, can mitigate by founding edges, cleaning, and applying some of the topical treatments to face or more effectively back of the pad. if they're factory replacement ceramic then cold performance isn't far off oe, and they warm up quickly. Depending what's important to you is your decision, if you want clean rims, or more performance they're a good option. if you hate brake noises then i wouldn't recommend.

The only brake squeal I experience with ceramic pads is while backing up my driveway in my wife's Rav4. Squeal isn't a problem going down the road.

The pads that came with my Wilwood Dynalite brake kit for my 55 Tbird are semi-metallic. For my daily drivers, I always use ceramic pads.

Less dust on rims, no rust color.
Take slightly longer to grab but get almost as good braking as metal pads.
Better braking than Organic,
Less chance of noisy brakes compared to metal or semi-metallic.

What are the pros and cons of ceramic brake pads.  Better braking ? increased rotor wear?
Got Granada discs on my 54, breaking is ok but thinking to go with ceramic pads if better.
