Maybe give theses guys a call - https://www.chucklesrescue.com/auto-repair-stations/old-guys-restoration-llc

Few modern TRANS SHOPS actually rebuild on the bench but have an R&R (low experience) guy swap re-mans.

If the TRANS is leaking, it is most likely going to need a diagnosis and re-seal if not a complete overhaul (if not a service part failure).

1957 (and then TECH) is how many years ago?

You need a repair shop you can trust.

As a side note - if your looking for parts for a FORDO,  try Fatsco Transmission Parts in Pine Brook, NJ.  The have parts for older transmissions.

Any good reputable Trans Shop should be able to fix it. I found the Leak in My Fordomatic to be the Gasket between Case and extension housing after replacing Pan Gasket 3 Times. Could also be O-Ring in the Torque Convertor. Could be 3-4 other Places it may be Leaking.

Just a long shot---does anyone know of a good shop in Phoenix Az that would work on the tranny on my 57 Skyliner. It was developed a substantial leak. Not just from the pan.
It would also be good to connect with some Y Block folks in the Phoenix area. Thanks. Harold
