thought i would update on my oiling problem a while back,i was getting very little oil to the rockers so i did what was suggested and forced grease through the oil passages there wasnt much restriction .I thought a new oil pump would be a good idea, problem solved! plenty of oil pressure and oil to the rockers.im not an expert on oil pumps but i cant figure out what is wrong with the old pump. This is on my 55 crown victoria she starts and runs pretty good on 6volts even when it got down in the low teens so im pretty happy.thanks for the help!

What pump did you remove from the engine? Spur-gear or gerotor? Is it possible that the original pump was pulling in air at the inlet fitting and just replacing the pump inadvertently fixed the oil flow issue? What pump went back on the engine? New, rebuilt, spur-gear, gerotor, etc.?
