FOR SALE: Six used FOLO-THRU starter drive Bendix for 1952-1961 Ford cars and trucks and also Mercury cars.
FoMoCo 1954, 1956, 1960, 1964. Used on Y-Block 272, 292, 312 engines. These are in good condition.
I disassembled them and cleaned them. Pinion gear has 9 teeth in good condition. On 2 of the units the pinion and barrel is all the way forward with the detent pin engaged on the screw shaft as if car was being started. The overall length of the starter drive in this position is 5 1/2 in.
On 4 of the units the pinion and barrel is retracted as if pinion gear was disengaged from the flywheel when the engine starts. The overall length of the starter drive in this position is 4 3/4 in.
