4th generation owner of a 57 F-100. 272 truck with about 70k on odometer. Farm truck so a few dents, bumps and scrapes but overall pretty decent I suppose. Engine is seized from sitting but I have soaked cylinders a few times. Right now just 2 of them are wanting to hold my concoction so hopefully they'll turn loose in a few weeks and I can get thos thing to pop off with a little bit of gas down the carb.

I was looking for grill pieces when I stumbled upon the bed only 8 miles from home.

Nice looking old truck. Did you ever get it to turn over? Sometimes it takes a lot of soaking and patience. Check with a long breaker bar on the harmonic balancer bolt and try to get it to move back and forth. You can also put it in second or third and rock the truck back and forth.

Haven't tried in a week, refilled cylinders with ATF and PB Blaster. Did the breaker on the crank for a couple weeks but as hard as I was pulling I was worried about either stripping or breaking crank bolt and going backwards just loosens crank bolt. I will pick up a battery next weekend since the starter will have more torque than me. May remove the inspection plate and try a bar on flywheel while someone bumps starter. Even if it breaks loose I will just stop and go back and forth while soaking again for a while. No rush, it didn't seize in short order so won't come unstuck in short order.

Try having someone help you rock it in 2d or 3rd gear to see if it moves that way. A lot more torque than the starter puts out.
