Thank you, Ted, for posting these. Compared to many/most of you, I got into the game rather late. It would be great if someone could post some of the printed issues as well. Curiosity has me wondering what I might have missed.

Jeff brings up a good topic.  There is a market out there for a flash drive that has digital copies of The Y-Block Magazines.  Digitalizing past issues of ‘The V8 Times’, ‘Fomoco Times’, and other magazines has already been done so it’s doable for the YBM.

If there is someone out there that’s interested in digitalizing the magazines, I can provide most of the YBM magazines so that they can be converted to digital copies.  Depending upon where you are, there is also a collection of the YBM magazines in Illinois that should also be available for this purpose.  Feel free to either leave a response in this thread or email me directly.  My contact information can be found at
 www.eatonbalancing.com .

Ted, add my thanks to the list.  I sure miss receiving the magazine.  Have you heard anything from Bruce about he's getting along?

I too miss the Y-Block Magazine as it was an opportunity to write articles on a regular basis just for that magazine.  Writing those articles was something that I looked forward to and put me in a position of better managing my time in order to write those articles.

Jim Cochran still has regular contact with Bruce Young.  A conversation with Jim earlier this week simply has Bruce barely getting around.  Bruce does need heart surgery but there are problems with his heart that needs some expertise and technology that’s not available in his area.

Additional Ford Y-Block related articles have been added to the Eaton Balancing website.  Some of these were previously published in The Y-Block Magazine while others were written and ready to be published.  The last issue of YBM was issue #173 published in 2023 and with its demise, there were several Ford Y-Block related articles that were not yet published.  Because the automotive magazine market in general has pretty much gone digital, the hard copy venue has gone to the wayside in which to publish articles.  So that those articles do not get totally lost to time, I have added some of those to the Eaton Balancing website.  Here are links to the recently added articles on the Eaton Balancing website.
