I'm trying to find a diagram for the mount fir tranny on my 54 lincoln. I thought I had all the parts to put it back together but itnlooks like I'm missing something. There is a fairly large hole in the bracket that the mounting bolt goes thru. I have a conical shaped rubber chunk that fits on the bolt but I thought it went between the tranny and the mount. But maybe it goes under the mount and covers the hole. My manual doesn't cover anything related to the tranny and i can't find it by googling.
So what am I missing?
