Bill, you may look at a factory York type mount for a FE to see if it could be adapted. I have one off a 63 390, but I have never held it up to a Y Block to see what would be involved. I know that one of the aftermarket companys offers an adapter to put the Sanden compressor on the York mount.

I used a Mustang early type, hangs under the dash. Has the ford logo on it and went right in. Looks good too. Gerry

Paul My vehicle is '60 F100 and I have my turbocharger on the passenger side and that's my problem. I need some type mount for left side.(I'll probably just have to fab something) Any suggestions welcome ANd any under dash type head units??? Thx Bill

I used the Vintage Air unit to put a Sanden compressor low on the passenger side and a 1 wire Delco alternator just above it. Works fine but be aware that you need to get the compressor with the right orientations for the hose connections. Straight up will not work on the Y. TC 56 Victoria

Y-Guys Has anyone seen or fabricated an a/c compressor mount for the left side of the Y. Which brand compressor is shortest? I know very little A/C stuff but, I 'm thinking about adding it over the winter....... Bill
