Hey all. Trying to make some progress mocking up parts on my 54 239 out of a car, for use on a 58 292 in a F600 that is on the other side of the country. I need to mock up my alternator and a/c compressor and was wondering if all the crank pulleys are spaced out from the face of the block the same?

The red engine in the stand is the 239. It has a dual groove pulley, but the spacing seems odd, like there is an inch between the belts. Also the outer most belt groove looks like it is for a massive belt. I can't use this crank pulley as it's broken. Trying to find a economical solution to get the second belt on my 292.

These screen grabs below are the best I have of the 292 we will be installing the parts on. I need to add another belt for the A/c compressor. Parts I'm look at are below the pictures.

I'd like to use this if possible. But there isn't much for pictures, and I'd have to get it to my current location, then in my luggage or ship it to the other side of the country.

This looks like a nice piece, but unsure of spacing, same travel issues, twice the price as the option above.

Any and all ideas welcome!

Will be using a CS Alternator and Small Sanden Compressor with the vintage air bracket.

Your 239 car engine has a truck timing cover with the high mount fan mounted off the water pump. The wide belt fan up to the fan. If you can reuse the 292 timing cover as the water pump is larger. I have a 239 car engine in my ‘54 F100 with the car water pump and timing cover.

That makes sense for the big belt.
