I don't know about the anti drain back, I assume there is something in the filter but I don't know the mechanics of it.

Filters are still avaialble and I think Ford still makes replacement filters.  I know Wix does and I think Purolater still does.  It's been a while since I used the cartridge type filter.

LOL, after all the talk about bad spin on filters, you can probably raise the price. At least with a canister you see what it is before you buy and install it.
