There’s been a couple links added that address the place and company of actual manufacturing, including Motorcraft. I think you need to be a member to click them, but you can manually enter them I’d necessary. More good info.

Plain as can be, LS NAPA Gold/Wix on the left (made in China) and NAPA Gold/Wix for the Y Block on the right. At least the Y's filter is made in the USA.
