My 317 was rebuilt a few months ago and I won't have it ready to start for a while. My concern is that it sits for too long and needs lubricant before starting.
I'm just about to put spark plugs in and want to know what I should do first. Should I spray marvel mystery oil or something in the spark plug holes first and if it takes another few months before it's ready to start, should I do it again? I'm still waiting to hear from the tranny guy about the hydramatic then hook it up to the engine and rewire the engine bay. So as you can see, it's gonna be a while.
When do I put oil in it? Here's some recent pictures of the engine. Enjoy
